14 Year Old Cancer Survivor’s Friend Cyberbullies Her

Here’s yet another story out of Massachusetts of a cyberbullying case with a terrible twist. According to an article in the Huffington Post, a fourteen year old girl, who survived cancer when she was ten  and lost a leg in her cancer battle was being relentlessly cyberbullied.

The cyberbullying got so increasingly bad that the parents and girl called the police in to investigate and what they found was even more disturbing. The girls best friend was the cyberbully. You can read more of the story and see the CBS news video of the story by following this link.

It’s truly a sad story of a bullying victim having to deal with both the tragedy of cancer and the discovery that her best friend was also her bully. While not a new story and one I have written about, it certainly is painful to both read and have happen to you. The girl and her parents are now considering pressing civil charges.
