Ellen deLaraFamily therapist and author, Dr. Ellen deLara, talks with host, Alan Eisenberg, about the scars that bullying can leave on people, long after the abuse has ended. Dr. Ellen Walser deLara is a family therapist and an associate professor at the School of Social Work at Syracuse University. Her areas of research expertise include child maltreatment, bullying from a systems theory perspective, adolescent development, and understanding violence over the lifespan. She is the author of 3 books, the newest Bullying Scars: The impact on adult life and relationships published by Oxford University Press.
